Nee Hao is known for their plentiful portions. Not only do they give a lot of food for a reasonable amount, their food is always hot and fresh. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try, if you're in the area. Kind staff as well.

Employees are always pleasant and generous on their meal portions. The only thing I suggest is their parking lot to be expanded.

New Hao. How are you? This mom and pop spot been around for over 20 years. It was my spot in the 20s with "momma" always yelling at us. It's Chinese American, basic, no frills food that will soothe all your cravings. They be busy. All the time. There is pick up (if you can get through on the phone), dine in and drive thru. Had not been in a long time but stopped by Saturday on the way home from Spring. Did the drive thru for the first time and ordered a large shrimp fried rice and a couple of orders of their fried vegetable spring rolls or so I thought. Misunderstanding left me with vegetable egg rolls which are not the same. The fried vegetable spring rolls are mini size (2 for $1). I also ordered a large wonton soup. I still had to wait 20 min so they had me pull into the front. The food: shrimp fried rice filled to the brim of the box. Shrimp count was less than before but still delicious. The egg rolls were better than expected esp with their red sweet and sour sauce. The win tonight soup was filled with Chinese veggies, char siu (Chinese bbq pork) and wontons. There isn't a lot of filling per se but still very yummy. Their menu looked the same. Combos etc. I forgot to ask for their chili sauce which was like crack. Addictive. Same owners. Cantonese. Nice people. Food came out piping hot. I live in the city so was about a 20 minute drive home and the soup was hot enough to burn my tongue. Def will stop again next time I'm in the hood. So many wonderful memories.

This is the best Chinese in Houston. You get huge portions and the food is made fresh. I love it. Super sweet lady running the place. She's so fun to talk to. It's a little hole in the wall and worth the visit. The chicken lo mein is stuffed to the brim and is delicious!

As a highly satisfied customer, I am pleased to share my most recent positive experience with this establishment. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations, leaving me thoroughly impressed. Notably, the portion sizes offered exceptional value for the price, demonstrating a commitment to customer satisfaction. The convenience of their drive-thru service for call-ahead orders further enhanced the overall dining experience, allowing for a seamless and efficient transaction. Although the parking situation, situated adjacent to neighboring businesses, posed a minor challenge, it did not detract from the overall positive impression. Furthermore, the decision to exclusively offer takeout services post-pandemic proved to be a prudent choice, resulting in expedited and streamlined service. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for its outstanding culinary, the affordability, and dedication to ensuring a remarkable takeout experience.

I grew up minutes away from Nee Hao and it was my mother's go-to restaurant for Chinese takeout. It had been over a decade since I've had it and I must say, this bit of nostalgia made me smile! Née Hao hasn't changed much since I last visited over 10 years ago and the menu is very extensive. I feel there's a lot to choose from. I ordered fried wontons, wonton soup, and chicken lo mein. There was a very generous amount of food for only $23. The food was good, I did need a bit of soy sauce and chili for my lo mein but you really can't beat the amount of food you get for the price. I will say, this isn't a place I'd recommend dining in. There's not a lot of seating and much of the restaurant has boxes stacked. I'd recommend just ordering to go.

I don't live around here but my friend wanted some Chinese food before she left for England and this place popped up for Yelp. I'd give this place a five star but the facility isn't really ideal for dining in. Plus the surrounding area is a bit suspish...HOWEVER!! This is one of the BEST hole in the wall Chinese restaurants I have ever eaten at! The food was fresh, the meat was tender and the dish was full of flavor! I'm just blown away at the quality of food and the portion is definitely BANG for your buck!!! Whatever savings they're making on rent, it's definitely going into their amazing food. Plus the service was fast and they're super friendly. I may have to make the drive to come back and get an order to go next time!!
